Abbey Gate MT Club
Musical Theatre after school at Abbey Gate College Infant & Junior School
Welcome to Abbey Gate MT Club
OTMYT's Abbey Gate Musical Theatre Club is an after-school club running at Abbey Gate College Infant & Junior School. It's open to pupils in Reception through to Year 6 — no audition, no experience needed.
Each week, children explore singing, acting and dance through fun, structured activities led by experienced OTMYT practitioners. It's a brilliant way to build confidence, creativity and performance skills in a friendly, supportive environment.
Who Can Join?
The club is open to all pupils at Abbey Gate College Infant & Junior School from Reception through to Year 6. No previous experience of musical theatre is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to give it a go.
What We Do
Each session combines singing, acting and dance in a way that's fun, accessible and age-appropriate. Activities are designed to build skills progressively while keeping every session enjoyable and engaging.
Sessions are led by experienced OTMYT practitioners and take place in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
When Does It Run?
The club runs on Tuesdays after school, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Sessions follow the Abbey Gate College school calendar.
Please check the current term dates for the specific session dates each term, as these follow the Abbey Gate school calendar in mind.
Fees
The fee for the club is £50 per term, payable in advance. This covers all sessions within the term.
