CATS Performances - Rescheduled!

For Ticket Holders...

The cancellation of our production of CATS was a huge disappointment to all of us at OTMYT, especially our fantastic young cast who had rehearsed for six months only to have the show cancelled on the evening of the second dress rehearsal following the announcement, by the government, about social distancing and avoiding theatres due to Covid-19.

Many of the production costs had already been paid and so we have planned to stage the performance again so that you, our supporters, can still see the show! We will be putting on four performances over the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August (2:00pm and 7:00pm daily) and, as a ticket holder, you can choose which of these to attend (until any fill up!) so please use the button to make your choice. You will need your Ticket Booking Reference.

You will also have the option of not attending a rescheduled performance but donating the ticket money you have already paid to OTMYT so that we can continue to operate when the current challenging circumstances have subsided; we really appreciate this.

Can you make a further donation to help with the rescheduled production?

The current plans for August are for a somewhat stripped back performance of CATS. We would love to be able to offer our cast (and audiences) the production as it was originally intended but this will place an impossible financial burden on us. The cost of rehiring lighting, sound and staging equipment is many thousands of pounds. Some of these hire companies and individuals have offered us a reduction on the rehire of equipment for Cats which is generous of them as of course they are also fighting for their survival at the moment.

However, we have set up a Go Fund Me page to collect any donations towards making this the production as it was originally intended to be; if you are able to make a donation of any amount, however small, please accept our sincere thanks on behalf of everyone at OTMYT. Every penny will be spent on the production to get it to the highest possible standard.
