Heather has always had a passion for the performing arts since she was young; she started dancing at the age of three, and hasn’t stopped since.
Heather graduated from Edge Hill University with a BA(Hons) Dance in 2022. Whilst studying, she was involved with many dance projects, including two performances about the effects of climate change; one by Bettina Carpi, the other Louisa Robey.
Heather’s most notable role was as a dancer in Storyhouse production of Wizard of Oz in 2018, where she played a wide range of characters, from an Ozian to a monkey to a poppy.
Heather is a dance teacher, coaching children from the ages of 2-18. She teaches ballet at Studio 13 in Saltney and dance at Bitesize Youth Theatre in Wrexham. She enjoys being able to share her knowledge and love for the performing arts and believes every child should have the opportunity to love and enjoy the arts.
Heather has been trained in ballet, tap, modern dance, jazz, contemporary, commercial, dance theatre, musical theatre, and drama, as well as having experience in other styles including Irish traditional dance, flamenco, capoeira and kathak.
