On The Mark Youth Theatre offers flexible performance support for schools, helping children and young people take part in confident, high-quality shows, concerts, showcases, arts weeks and musical theatre projects. Based in Chester, OTMYT works with schools across Cheshire West, Wirral and North Wales, providing specialist support in acting, singing, movement, musical theatre, rehearsal planning and performance confidence.
We know that school performances can be hugely rewarding, but they can also place significant pressure on busy staff, especially where schools do not have specialist theatre, music or musical theatre support in-house. Our school performance support packages are designed to make the process more manageable, enjoyable and successful. Support can range from a one-off Musical Theatre in a Day workshop through to singing, acting and movement coaching, creative production support, or a fully produced school show package.
Every project can be shaped around the needs of the school, including timetable, venue, staff capacity, age group and performance aims. OTMYT can support with areas such as song teaching, acting through song, choreography or movement, scene direction, casting guidance, rehearsal structure, licensing advice, costume and prop coordination, and final performance polish.
