Katy Hall

Katy has loved the performing arts from very young age. She attended Stagecoach from the age of five; here she was able to work on developing her musical theatre skills across all the disciplines. Throughout her time there Katy performed in some professional shows such as Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor

Dream-coat. Her favourite show however was Shrek the Musical where she played the part of Young Fiona at the age of 11. 

Later, Katy joined On The Mark Youth Theatre and performed in our productions of The Addams Family, Magic of The Musicals and Whistle Down the Wind, where she took the leading role of Swallow. 

Katy has had experience in several dance styles including ballet, pointe, tap and modern at Infinity Dance and Theatre School. She completed her assessment in RAD Grade 6 Ballet and ITSD Grade 4 Tap. During her Sixth Form studies, Katy also ran a drama club for year seven and eight students alongside her other peers.

Last year Katy move down to London to attend The Dang Academy’s full time foundation course. After her first year of intense training she was awarded a place on the Mountain Manchester Foundation which is where she will be attending this academic year and hoping to gain a place on a Degree course next year. Katy loves training in musical theatre school and can’t wait for the future hopefully within the industry.

Having been an OTMYT cast member for a number of years, Katy is ecstatic to be back with us as part of the team!
