Keane is a theatre creative and director in her own right, recently directing and developing new works such as: Vicars Crossing, her original verbatim play and Stay Positive, a play written for a arts festival about mental health.
Keane attended University in Oklahoma on a football scholarship, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Directing and Dramaturgy. Now she has returned to OTMYT where, as a teen, she performed as Grandma Addams in the Addams Family Musical and featured as Mrs Lovett in the 2019 Musical showcase.
Keane has also been the Assistant Director to shows including Roald Dahl’s The BFG at Theatre Porto (in which she was also a featured Actor playing the Queen of Sweden) and Chris Salt’s critically acclaimed play, Fell, that toured nationally after starting its run in the West End.
Keane thrives in creative environments where she can support and lead collaborative projects. She has worked with OTMYT during the Summer Workshops in the past, as a Mentor, and is excited to come back again this year as the Drama Teacher!
