APPLICATIONS TO JOIN OTMYT LOWER SENIORS, FOR OUR DECEMBER 2026 SHOW, ARE NOW OPEN. 

OTMYT Lower Seniors is available to children who are in School Year 4 to School Year 8, at the time of starting.

OTMYT Upper Seniors - School Year 9 to age 19

OTMYT Juniors - Age 4 up to School Year 3

OTMYT Lower Seniors offers a weekly (Saturdays) three hours of musical theatre fun and skills training in Acting, Singing & Dance, from 10am - 1pm. In line with our ethos of 'Learning by Doing', these sessions work towards two productions per academic year which are:

• September - December: Rehearsals for and performances of Musical Theatre's Greatest Hits.
• January - July: Rehearsals for and performances of a full stage musical at Storyhouse, Chester, in the Summer Term.

Commitment is for a minimum of one school term (September - December) or two school terms (January - July).

Musical Theatre's Greatest Hits 2026 (Chester venue TBC)

Dates

Weekly Sessions 10am - 1pm (at Christleton High School)

• Saturday 5th September - Saturday 5th March
• Note - No sessions on Saturday 24th or 31st October, due to half term.

Technical/Dress Rehearsal (Chester venue TBC)

• Friday 11th December - 6:00pm-9:30pm

Performances (Chester venue, TBC)

• Saturday 12th December - 2:00pm (Cast required from 1:00pm)
• Saturday 12th December - 7:00pm (Cast required from 6:00pm)

Fees

The cost is £25 per weekly session. The total fee of £300 for a term (12 weeks) is payable in one of the two following ways:  

Option 1: Termly

A single payment of £300, on or before the following date:

• 5th September

Option 2: Monthly

Three payments of £100, on or before the following dates:

• 5th September
• 3rd October
• 14th November

Sibling Discount

The fee is automatically reduced by 50% for any second and subsequent sibling attending OTMYT Seniors.

2. Applications must be made by a parent or guardian.
3. There is no audition to join OTMYT but there is a maximum capacity; places will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
